About OceanGalz

OceanGalz was created by us, Maria and Isa, October 2021, driven by our shared love for exploring the ocean. What began as a way to preserve our underwater memories quickly grew into the @oceangalz social media page, which has now become a community of over half a million ocean lovers on TikTok and Instagram, lovingly called our Ocean Fam.

We started as snorkelers, but our passion for the ocean led us to explore even deeper. Today, we freedive and scuba dive all over the world, capturing the beauty and wonder of marine life. Spending hours in the ocean every day, we couldn’t ignore the reality of its declining health. This inspired us to turn OceanGalz into a platform to raise awareness about marine conservation, especially for those just beginning to understand these issues. 

We love sharing the beauty of the ocean and what it feels like to dive beneath the surface, feel weightless and free, and connect with the wonders of marine life. These moments of connection with nature, with each other, and with ourselves are what make the ocean so magical. But we also highlight the challenges our ocean faces and teach others how they can help. We believe that inspiring others to love the ocean is the first step toward a collective effort to protect it.

Through OceanGalz, we organize expeditions and adventures, inviting people to explore the depths and share unforgettable underwater memories with us. We collaborate with brands to create impactful partnerships and use the social media strategies we’ve mastered to help them grow their online presence. We also host trash and dive cleanups, partnering with organizations to make a tangible difference while teaching our Ocean Fam how to get involved.

OceanGalz is more than just a social media platform. It is a community, a movement, and a way of life.
